Are you ready for a week in the city of Alicante! We hope to see you all this summer and we hope that you will join us at our event as we are excited to meet you all!
But first, let us explain what Eurosummer is :
Eurosummer is a new event that was started as a way for S7 students across the European Schools and Accredited European Schools to connect and come together. This year we have decided to expand and open our doors to S6 students as well. A week is spent in the city of Alicante, Spain where fun and exciting activities will be held and planned. This event will be memorable and will be a week that won’t be forgotten.
Alicante is a small city located on the Mediterranean coast in the south-east part of Spain, in the Communidad Valenciana. Being located here, we have incredible beaches and coves all over. Alicante is not only known for the beaches but also its lively, affordable and never-ending nightlife. We have a great restaurant scene with inexpensive and extremely good Spanish food like Paella, seafoods and tapas. This is just a part of what the city has to offer. But what a lot of people don’t know is that Alicante is also home to very interesting history that spans thousands of years. This can be seen at the Castillo Santa Barbara and bunkers across the city.
As a bonus, the city is extremely accessible with a tram line that stops pretty much everywhere in the city, making it very easy and simple to get from one point to another. This allows us to visit close by towns such as Altea, Benidorm and more.
The foreseen dates for this event will be from the 14th of August to the 20th, so a total of six full days. During this time, we will take you on day excursions, parties, beach days and much more. The activities will be booked and chosen once the number of applicants is given.
As for the moment, there is a deadline for entry of interest on the forms posted on our Instagram account (@eurosummer23_). Students have until the 12th of April to show their first signs of interest. We are aware that the numbers will change once we get our price estimations as the trip might be expensive. However, once we get the estimation, we will be able to begin planning the activities for the week in more detail.
